Great Lighter but…

So its been a year or so since i bought it, im not a usual smoker, maybe once a week, so i have not been using the lighter much, but suddenly it was not working anymore. I disassembled the lighter and as it turned out the rubber tube which passes gas up the lighter was off the metal thing which sets the fire size by turning it left or right. The rubber tube at the end was widened and would not stay on the metal thing anymore so i had to fasten it with a thin rope. It works for now, i do not twist the fire size controller anymore not to loosen the rope on the rubber tube. So in a conclusion its a great lighter with an engineering flow, which needs to be changed.
